******PLEASE SHARE****** If you are in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area don’t purchase a vehicle from Hessert Chevrolet on the Boulevard. The incompetency and ignorance from the service depart Philadelphia/New Jersey area don’t purchase a vehicle from Hessert Chevrolet on the Boulevard. The incompetency and ignorance from the service department, technicians and general manager is absolutely ridiculous. I purchased this brand new 1500 only 3 weeks ago and have not even made the first payment on it. The truck has only 1,800 miles and while driving down the road my tie rod popped out of place and I lost control of my truck, leaving me stuck in the middle of the road. I personally had to have a flatbed come out and take my truck to the dealership where it sat for 2 days and no one touched my truck. When I called and asked about my truck it was stated that since it came in not as scheduled maintenance it would have to wait. Brand new vehicle and they’re making me wait 48 hours to have someone diagnose and work on my truck while the problem was clearly easy to see. The service department there misdiagnosed my truck saying the problem was on the passenger side when clearly the problem was on the driver side. Example 1 of how incompetent these people over at the dealership are. On top of that they were saying I needed to pay for the repair of the vehicle and my warranty did not cover what happened to my truck. Example two of the incompetence at this dealership. This dealership from the manager down have absolutely not a clue about any mechanical work, warranties or customer service. This dealership is a joke. This is my first Chevy truck and it will be my last Chevy truck I purchase. Especially from a disgrace of a dealership like that one. More
