PURCHASED NEW MICHELIN TIRES. SURPRISE—no new valve stems! It is beyond comprehension why any shop that held itself out as competent would leave old stems that had 104,000 miles o SURPRISE—no new valve stems! It is beyond comprehension why any shop that held itself out as competent would leave old stems that had 104,000 miles of use in the wheels when installing high-end tires, or any tires. I called Maui who said the computer did not incluide stems with tires. So what? That is criminally-conscious negiligence that might have caused an accident with seriouis injury or fatal consequences. I HAD GO TO A TIRE SHOP TO DISMOUNT THE NEW TIRES, INSTALL NEW VALVE STEMS AND REMOUNT THE NEW TIRES at a cost of almost $200. I blame the boss, Tom Nguyen. He or his robot does not answer my request for his contact information, which explains a lot. If Tom worked for my company he would be fired. What is your direct email and telephone. number, Tom? My truck was intended for my grandson after I replaced it with a new RAM1500. Maui was extremely friendly and professional. Seems the service was done. They don’t have loaners or provide shuttle service. Had to get uber. I am used to service department providing those. The service department is incredibly condescending. The entire miscommunication could have been solved by telling me over the phone, “You may be waiting as long as until the end of the day, 5pm.” Inst The entire miscommunication could have been solved by telling me over the phone, “You may be waiting as long as until the end of the day, 5pm.” Instead, once I got there they were incredibly rude and patronizing. The guy behind the counter said, “You know, it’s kind of like the DMV where you have to wait in line for your turn.” I’m not an idiot, I understand first come first serve policy, but that is not what they expressed over the phone. I was given an appointment time and told it would take 2 to 3 hours. They told me over the phone that they would put me down as “waiting in person.” The mansplaining has to stop. It’s rude and I know no one appreciates it. I won’t be using this service department nor buying our next jeep here either. More
