Ray, after talking with the service department, it sounds like we have a lot to celebrate here too. Sounds like the damage was much more excessive than expected, but we were able to work with Toyota to get it all covered under warranty. Glad they were able to do that, but I get that it is frustrating to take longer than expected. It reminds me of when I worked in landscaping. We wouldn't always know how long a project would take until we started digging! I think there is definitely a learning opportunity for our guys to communicate the status better, so I appreciate you letting us address it. On the windshield, the service department claimed that they had documented the damage to the windshield when the vehicle came in, but as I told them there would be no way for you to know if they wrote that on the ticket after something they did might have caused the damage. I have addressed this with Nick, our service manager, and he has agreed that, although he is not sure what happened to the windshield, neither are you so we should hold ourselves accountable. Can you please call me at 660-956-7131 so we can set up an appointment to get the windshield fixed for you?
