First, I have to say the salesperson that sold me the car was transparent, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. It was a pleasure. And some of the service people as well have been very nice and know th was transparent, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. It was a pleasure. And some of the service people as well have been very nice and know their stuff. Unfortunately the service department can be a hit or miss, and that’s a problem for me. Today I took my Mazda 6 there for a simple oil change. I had absolutely no issues with my car beforehand. At 20,000 miles it still runs like new. I don’t drive it often but when I do it varies on street & highway. Usually after an oil change it feels just a bit smoother. Today after the oil change it felt a bit heavier & the blower a little less cool. 🤷♀️. I don’t get it. They told me they used full synthetic as I requested, but I’m not so sure. They pushed a lot of service on me today. After my prepaid maintenance plan is over I’ll be looking elsewhere or do the service myself. It’s been many years since I’ve done my own car maintenance but maybe it’s time I get back to it. Everywhere you go someone is shoving their hands in your purse or wallet. Disappointing 😞. I hope my car is okay but I will be keeping track. Too much oil added. I don’t know for sure if it’s full synthetic or semisynthetic oil since they list both on the receipt. If I am able I will attach pics of what I am referring to. The only name I have for the service is M.Silva. I don’t know if that’s the guy at the front desk or the mechanic 🤷♀️. I waited 2.5 hours for the oil change. Communication they sent me via text before the appointment referenced semi synthetic oil. I made several attempts to ensure they were aware my car requires full synthetic oil. Again, I’m not sure what they added. After the oil change they said my car needed coolant flush, engine filter (which I inspected and took pics but don’t know how to attach to this review), fuel injection and brake fluids changed. Close to $1,000 overall. I took a pic of the dipstick showing they added too much oil. And I took pics of the recommended services. Update: I went back and oil was adjusted to the correct level. And I spoke to W.Paris who just returned from vacation. He apologized for the inconvenience and provided a tag for one free oil change. More
