BEWARE SHADY DEALERSHIP, TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!TRUST ME!!! I purchased a '22 Bronco Sport, 1/26/26. Low miles, 33k and was a previous leased, 1 time ower. The Car facts were good all main ELSE!!!!TRUST ME!!! I purchased a '22 Bronco Sport, 1/26/26. Low miles, 33k and was a previous leased, 1 time ower. The Car facts were good all maintenance done, but there were recalls that seemed simple. (battery replacement, and a module computer update) I was ok with handling the recalls through Ford and I immediately scheduled my appointment for a week later. It being a vehicle from TX I noticed immediately the windshield wiper sprayers didn't work and I thought to myself, those southerners use water instead of antifreeze, let the car warm up. But I was WRONG. It needed service immediately and was back in the shop 2/2/26 and I was out of work that day. I explained to the sale man at Basil Mitsubishi "how did you pass my NYS inspection with failed wipers and sprayers!!!" Clearly, That's fraud. Did they even REALLY inspect my vehicle!!! No the salesman said "we just needed to slap a new sticker on" he CLEARLY ADMITTED that it was not fully inspected correctly. On that day 2/2/26 I was then told I needed to return waiting on parts (wiper pump). I again took off work and returned 2/9/26 to have parts installed, issue was still not fixed and I was told they would call me when THEY HAD TIME to look at it again. Mind you, it's winter and windshield wipers and sprayers are necessary to drive safely. I requested a loaner car because I had already been severely inconvenienced, and they said again they would let me know when they had one. NO ONE RETURNED MY CALLS, NO ONE BOTHERED TO HELP ME IN A TIMELY MANNER... Forward to 2/13/26, I was leaving work and the vehicle would not start, check engine light on, stranded I was towed to Ford dealership sat for a total of 8 days PLAYING PHONE TAG WITH LAUREN ALLISON (service manager) because she wanted it towed to their shop, (mind you she didn't make one effort to even get it towed there, I had to do all the work and towed it to Basil Ford on Walden) and then I had to BEG BASIL MITSUBISHI FOR A LOANER!!!! THE WHOLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE!! I began searching about Lemon Law at this point because I hadn't even had the car for 18 days and it's been broken since...and Basil Mitsubishi refused to do a buy back.... Long story short, the route of cause was a bad windshield wiper motor,(I had told them 2/2/26 that's what I thought it was) that caused electrical issue with PCM which then shorted out my Starter. All 3 needing to be replaced. Basil Mitsubishi was taking their sweet time to initially fix my car and ultimately left me stranded. They have terrible communication and service and are NOT worth buying a vehicle from, they will take your money, fraudulently inspection your car and send you on your way. More

In late 2024 my 17yo daughter bought a car here. She had saved up 1000s of her own money to do so. (Commendable right?) She found a used one that looked nice with decent mileage. Bought it. Fast forward to July 2025. The car started having electrical problems. They couldn't "duplicate" the problem at Basil. She got tired of getting the run-around there so she took it to another dealer. They refused to put it up on the lift. Reason being the frame was so rotten they were concerned it would literally fall apart. A second repair shop confirmed this. Both counseled her not to drive it. Sadly she didn't go back to Basil and complain (it was past the lemon law) and sold it to a fixer-up guy for a $1000. (There was still some 1000s owed on the loan.) I wasn't able to help her at this time due to my mother being very ill and in & out of the hospital & nursing home 8x over 3 months. When we finally got mom back into a good place (Thank you God.) I decided to reach out to Basil. Let the know what happened and see what they'd do for her. I got my daughters permission, gathered all the paperwork/dealer pictures I could and visited the dealership. Long story short they told me they weren't going to do anything for her. (And, by law, they had every right to refuse.) But just because something is legal, doesn't make it right. This car NEVER should have been on the lot! The fact that it did is, (at the very least), gross incompetence! One of the last things the head manager said to me when I asked what he would do if somebody ripped his daughter off was... "I'd take it as a Lesson Learned." So I'm posting our experience with this dealership so anyone who is considering buying from this business can 'learn from our lesson' and find a more ethical company to do business with. You've been warned. More
