Update On May 25, 2024. My car is at the dealership with my husband getting new tires as I type, On 5/6/2024, I left a factual but negative review of Bobby Rahal Toyota Mechanicsburg. In response to that post, Aaron with Rahal Corporate contacted me to better understand the situation. He left a voice message. My husband interacted with Aaron and reported Aaron was extremely professional and receptive to his feedback on the phone.
In my previous review, I mentioned that the service manager didn’t even inspect my tires on May 3 at the dealership. He wasn’t interested. However, Aaron came to us on May 8, thoroughly checked the tires with my husband, and reviewed the paperwork we had from two independent garages.
The situation was not as grave as the last garage had advised me. Aaron explained some things to my husband and how the problem could have been caused in an easy-to-understand way. Since I had washed my hands of Bobby Rahal Toyota, I did not meet with Aaron but did send a letter with my husband to give to Aaron on May 8.
I am happy to report that based on Aaron’s inspection, the facts of the situation, and my request that they help with the cost of a new set of tires, Bobby Rahal offered to cover the labor cost for the tire installation & alignment, the misc. cost they add on for tires, and take something off the price of the tires. We paid with tax $742.00 and Rahal gave us a value of $362. We are pleased with them and believe it was fair.
I want to thank Aaron for successfully bringing this situation to an agreeable resolution. He shined!!!
