This place scammed an entire family willingly!! This is embarrassing and needs to be shut down. The owners cannot be trusted. Also, the lack of adherence to public health guidelines was shocking and infuri embarrassing and needs to be shut down. The owners cannot be trusted. Took advantage of an elderly couple Our elderly parents are in their 80s. They were taken advantage of by Tucker Ford in Brunswick. They were pressured into buying a new vehicle that day Our elderly parents are in their 80s. They were taken advantage of by Tucker Ford in Brunswick. They were pressured into buying a new vehicle that day they went in. They were there just to look and see what deal they could get. They were given HALF the price of what their trade-in was worth, per Kelly Blue Book. They paid CASH for their new vehicle and paid hundreds of dollars OVER sticker price. They came back three days later after putting a deposit down, and they wanted their car back and to cancel the deal. They were told they had sold their car already and can’t back out of the deal. I have found on Carfax that they actually did still have the vehicle at the time. They paid the balance and left, in cash via money order, thinking there was nothing they could do. The salesman’s name is Ethan Duval. I contacted Tucker, and explained what happened to the manager, Bobby. He basically said they will do nothing to make it right with them. Also important to note is our mother has a cochlear implant and cannot hear very well at all. Our father has been deemed by the Doctor as no longer able to make financial decisions etc. due to dementia. They were clearly taken advantage of, And because Tucker Ford refuses to do anything to make this right, I am trying all avenues so that they can get help to make Tucker refund them the amount they “stole” from them. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Beware of this place. THURS - Deal offered (that had been mentioned previously as a possibility by Bobby on TUES) and accepted, FRI - $500 deposit put Beware of this place. THURS - Deal offered (that had been mentioned previously as a possibility by Bobby on TUES) and accepted, FRI - $500 deposit put down over phone to hold vehicle, traveled an hour to sign and pre-pay, but the price was not as agreed. No one was there who could deal with this, message left for Bobby to call us back to work out. SAT - Called and Bobby not there and couldn’t run refund so told Bobby would call MON am to work out. MON 7am - Emailed Bobby with written agreement he agreed to, no response asking how to work this out and to please call. NO CALL.. WE call again later the same day and talk with Bobbie ...full of apologies, we miscommunicated, email not working (but I can check it out from another computer), sorry, but the car is now sold. LIES, LIES, LIES from Bobby and no Customer care. Car was out back marked SOLD Friday at closing, there are 2 messages plus an email and questions on refund left for you and by Monday afternoon you’ve NEVER spoken with the person who you agreed to a deal with or followed thru on why it didn’t work out and the car is now SOLD to someone else “because it happens in this business”. Obviously it does where you’re involved. Horrible customer service. They “miscommunications” and then do nothing but ignore the customer like it’s their fault. Slimy, unprofessional, terrible customer service and sick of the lies about knowing nothing about it, but accepts full blame, but we sold the car we still have your deposit on so what can we do?? Having a son who worked in the business, I’m Blessed that he is honorable and honest and stood behind his word because Bobby is an example of why people dread cars shopping ... because of the lies, games and fake apologies. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND ANGER, DO NOT GO HERE! More
