The vehicle was a purchase for my husband so I wasn't exactly prepared to ask all the "right" questions! With the information I was given, my husband and I went back to the dealership that same evening and he purchased a truck. My father-in-law purchased his truck from Nemer and I drove him the 4 hours (we live on Long Island) to pick it up. The dealer that I originally leased my car from went out of business. Jim worked very hard to get the exact car that I wanted, at a very fair price. Living 4 hours away was no challenge for him. We communicated via email and telephone conversations. He kept me in the loop at all times. My husband will be in the market for a new truck soon and the only place we will purchase it from is Nemer Ford. It has become our new Ford Dealer, even though it is 4 hours away! More

The place was nice, the vehicles were great, the problem was the salesman was very vague about the price until well after the financing was arranged and the down payment was made. Other than to narrow down the monthly payment amount and to say we were getting an awesome deal...he kept saying he didn't know the exact price of the truck, he needed to go through it w/ the sales manager...weird, right? The final number ended up being at least $7,000 dollars more than any consumer rating service would appraise the vehicle for...they wanted 21,9000 for a 2005 f-150, in 2009. You could get a brand new truck for that w/ all the deals and incentives they were offering at that time on trucks!!! They must've thought we had stupid on our foreheads to accept the deal! We asked for our down pmt back so we could go elsewhere, which we had given them in cash an hour beforehand and they said they didn't have it because it had been deposited already and the best they could do was give a check if we came back the next Monday. We said absolutely not, we just gave you cash, where did it go?, and they just kept trying to blow us off. Then they finally said all they could do was give us a check that day. My fiance went through the roof and threw out a quite a few very loud expletives to embarrass the manager in front of a showroom full of customers and at that point our cash down payment magically re-appeared in full in their hands. It was a total fiasco. The salesman is no longer there that we had, but the financing manager is and he was the one pulling all the strings anyway. We took our business to Warren Ford in Warrensburg and had an excellent experience with Scott and we've had the truck for 8 months and love it, got a good fair deal on it, and will go back to them again and again. More
