Escalade Lemon responded

Cadillac Escalade’s engine failed at 81K miles. The repair took over a month, with a replacement engine promised a 3-year/100,000-mile warranty. However, issues recurred after 1,000 miles. Despite engine light problems, the dealership claimed no faults. At 34K miles, the engine completely failed. Service confirmed a 3yr/100K warranty, but later, they stated it only covered until 100K total miles. Now, facing an $8K repair, the dealership refuses responsibility, misinformed about the warranty terms. The service manager condescended, and the GM rep suggested consulting loved ones before proceeding with payment. Seeking resolution through AG, consumer reports, bad press, lawyers, and emphasizing the importance of honoring commitments for better customer service.
