This sales person was super pushy. She was not able to answer many of my questions and kept pushing me to download a new truck app to my phone. Come to find out, she did it herself and now I can't access answer many of my questions and kept pushing me to download a new truck app to my phone. Phenomenal group of people I can't say enough about the group of folks working at Altitude in Evanston. I'm a Hot Shot Trucker, and was running a load of stuff out to Oregon for I can't say enough about the group of folks working at Altitude in Evanston. I'm a Hot Shot Trucker, and was running a load of stuff out to Oregon for the railroad about a month ago. Somewhere west of Evanston on I-80 my truck started losing power and my check engine light went on. I went to Google to find the closest dodge dealer and Altitude looked like my best bet. I called the shop and told them my situation, "I'm in a hurry, this load has a deadline and I'm a long way from being there, can y'all fit me in today?". All too accommodating the shop foreman Jason, told me to get to them and he would get me worked in and on my way. I got to the shop, talked with Jason about what was happening with the truck, and he told me he'd get to me as soon as possible. Within 30 minutes we were driving my truck to the side of the building. I had my gooseneck hooked up with all the freight on it and we couldn't fit it in the shop. Jason moved some cars around and made room outside next to the shop and sent Chris to come outside to start going through the trucks computer. Within an hour they had narrowed the problem down to a handful of bad sensors. I had told Chris that I had been an aircraft mechanic for many years, and did most of my own maintenance on my truck. He took extra time to explain to me how my systems and sensors worked in my truck so that I may have a full understanding of what to look for in the future and how to repair it. I left the shop, bought some sensors on my way out to Oregon and replaced my parts out west. On my way back a few days later, I developed another problem with the truck in Utah. I called the shop (since I'd be passing by later that day anyway) and asked if they could at least scan my computer once more for me so I knew what to do when I got back home to Texas. The service writer said it'd be no problem, even after I told him I wouldn't get there until just 10 minutes before they closed. I drove as fast as I could to get there, but the weigh station just up the road had me come in for an inspection, delaying me almost exactly ten minutes. I raced to the shop just as most of the crew had gone home. Only the service writer and Jason were there. They offered to stay late and scan the truck for me anyway. After 30 minutes or so, Jason offered to call Chris from home to come up and help out, (since Chris was more familiar with the truck and the original issues I'd had with it.) I told Jason that I wasn't in as big of a hurry as before and that this wasn't necessary. Being the great group of people these folks are, Jason insisted on asking Chris to come help, being that I'm so far from home and these guys were my only shot. Chris left his home, (at least an hour after already being off work) to come back to work and help me out. We went through the truck for hours after the shop was closed until we all agreed to call it a night and try some more in the morning. Chris went home to his wife and a cold late dinner, and Jason offered to have me come to his house, his wife had made a huge dinner, and said I was welcome to join them. Hospitality like that is so rare in todays world, and although I was hungry, I reluctantly had to decline the offer so I could park at the local truck stop and get a shower. Determined to be a gracious host, Jason insisted that I park up, grab a shower, and meet him and his wife for some Wyoming hospitality and R&R at a local tavern. I was happy to accept, after the trip I had just had some time with some good folks was a welcome prospect. We sat for hours up at the tavern talking about Wyoming, the people, and life back where I'm from in Texas. The next morning I grabbed some coffee and headed back to the shop, where Jason and Chris were eagerly waiting to get cracking on my problem again. We went over the computer, the egr system, turbo, and intercooler for hours. Chris had finally found an issue with my intercooler tube. It was rubbing my intake housing and my boot was wearing thin, (suspected boost leak). Although they didn't have the part on hand, Chris did his best to patch the hole enough to get me back safely to Texas where I could replace the tube. After all of that help these people gave me, upon hearing that I am a veteran, (from our talks in the shop) they offered a military discount on the bill. I tried to decline, on the grounds of what all they had done to help, and once again, their hospitality prevailed. The service manager told me "If someone is willing to fight for my country and my freedom, a discount is the least I can do in return". I have spent years in the military, in all sorts of nations, around all types of people, and now that I am a Hot Shotter I can add every state in the lower 48 to that list, and I can not ever remember a more hospitable experience in my life. These people, took my problem to heart, left their families at dinner, offered to feed a stranger far from home, worked tirelessly after hours, and then insisted on discounting the service after all that. I am, without question, stunned by this shop. I don't know if there's any type of awards given in the state of Wyoming for buisiness who excell in their communities, but this place deserves their highest honor without question in my book. These guys bring great credit to themselves, their company, and the automotive repair buisiness as a whole. I've since made friends with the people there, and look forward to the next time I pass through Evanston, to see these guys again. Truly a remarkable group of people. More

Absolutely horrible His place absolutely tried to take advantage of me in every way I bought a truck for these guys two weeks later the motor went after they had just che His place absolutely tried to take advantage of me in every way I bought a truck for these guys two weeks later the motor went after they had just checked it and said it was a fuel filter and sent me on my way I was then told they would trade me out of the truck where I had all the problems after I had already had a programmer installed it was agreed on that I would pay a portion of the programmer but one would believe that paying a portion of it and it best programmer going in your own truck that you would get to keep the programmer well that wasn't the case and I'm still being asked to pay a portion for that bill last but not least Kia dealership had to run my credit with 7 hard inquiries to get me into a new truck while I still had one on my credit that the motor was shot in and they were supposed to be training me out of so now I sit with a truck that I just bought it only had two three weeks the motor shot it's sitting at the dealership and they are getting me into another vehicle so in a matter of three weeks they're trying to get me approved when I have a brand new truck 3 weeks old mind me saying before the motor goes in this truck it had been in the shop two other times so any smart person knows that how is a person going to get qualified for 2 vehicle loans in 3 weeks but you're supposed to be helping him out of it like it's my fault in three weeks the motor goes in that truck after they told me it was okay to drive there's quite a few other people I've talked to that have not had good visits with this dealership and if there's any of you out there that thinks I'm getting jacked around would you please write if you review your self to me personally but I would not recommend this dealership to anybody that wants to get treated right and fairly More

Maintenance Customer Care It is truly unbelievable, even incomprehensible to have a dealer "woman" treat a customer in such a fashion and so different from the treatment we rec It is truly unbelievable, even incomprehensible to have a dealer "woman" treat a customer in such a fashion and so different from the treatment we received the day before at the Dodge dealership in Mt. Home, Idaho. I have a problem with the trans. shifting into anything but drive, neutral and reverse. I am told the shift linkage behind the dash is comprimised in some way. We took it to this dodge dealership to have it repaired. When leaving it, I told the scheduler that it had been worked on the previous day in Idaho and went into detail about what had been done. I told them there was no hurry as I had until the 7th or 8th of Oct. to need the vehicle. I also made sure they understood that if they needed parts or anything else that I did not expect them to put out any of the dealership's money. I would give them a credit card to work with in this case. I told him we were leaving to drive to our home in Phoenix, Az., 750 miles away and would return to pick it up when finished. I left it and began driving for Phoenix. About 1 hr and 95 miles later I receive a ph. call telling me the "woman" who runs the dealership or the maint. dept or whatever had said they will not work on the truck as it has a camper on the back and it would have to be removed. She was informed by the scheduler that it could not be removed as one of the camper jacks was out of order. She told him to tell me to go to someone with an "overhead" crane to have it removed. She had not even had her mechanics LOOK at the truck to see what was wrong, she just refused to work on it, sight unseen because it had a camper on it. When I arrived back at the dealership, I asked the scheduler if they had even looked at it and he said no, they did not have a "lift" they could put it on due to the camper. I asked him why they needed a lift to work behind the dash panel. As I asked this question, the woman in charge walked into the room. She asked me " what"s your problem" and I asked again why they needed a lift to work behind the dash panel on the linkage. She started to walk away and then turned and told me " just get it out of here and don't ever come back". I was incredulous. I had it worked on the day before by the mechanics at the Dodge dealership in Mt. Home Idaho and those guys worked on it on the ground, no lift and were able to make it shift to reverse and drive but no Park. They couldn't do enough to help us and in the process told us the shift linkage in question is more than 800 on backorder. So it was wonderful that they could get it out of drive where it had been stuck. It would not shift at all and if shut off, could not be restarted and the keys could not be removed from the column. I gave the two men $100 dollars each for a bonus for having helped us in such a good anner. (I am generous to those who do good work or who go out of their way to take vare of me. I am not a shirker in any way). I want to ada that I was told quite promptly the night before by one of the citizens of Evanston, Wy. where this dealership is located NOT to take the truck there for maintenance. I wish I had listened. I left the dealership and went to a shop that was recommend very highly. In less than two hours I received a call telling me what the problem was, (the shift lever cable) and that they were having trouble locating one but that they would continue to search and would find a solution. That is just how easy the problem was addressed by real mechanics at a real and interested, professional garage. If this woman's conduct is the norm for your dodge dealerships, then she is truly the best advertising that Ford and Chevy could have in a small community. And for the record, I went out and purchased a NEW King Ranch, 1 ton chassis Ford pickup completely loaded and paid cash. This is to put money where my mouth is and to help make my point. I also began my personal campaign to tell everyone that I know or have business with in Evanston how I was treated at that dealership. I have a lot of family in businesses in that town and have made it known to ALL of them and they have expressed their willingness to help to put out the word. Apparently this is not news for this town and that dealership. As I said I was told not to take the truck there in the first place and this was again reiterated when I started my crusade to make my displeasure known. I am keeping the 2007b Ram when it is repaired, but will NEVER again walk through the door of that dealership and possibly any other Dodge dealership, depending upon the response to this complaint.
