The saleswoman, Lindsey, was great, always got us information quickly. We purchased On-line from 1300 miles away and the used car arrived exactly as represented. The sales manager, on the other hand, tried to reject our full advertised-price offer after learning we didn't want a loan or warranty. This is illegal in many states, Washington included. I tracked down the dealership's parent corporation. The owner returned my call and reinstated the deal. More

Oldest dealer trick in the book. .. tell you they have the vehicle when you call about it and then tell you when you get there (in this case 30 minutes later) that it just sold 5 mins .. tell you they have the vehicle when you call about it and then tell you when you get there (in this case 30 minutes later) that it just sold 5 mins ago. On an early Tuesday morning too. Gee, what a coincidence. And all they had were more expensive models. Turned around and left immediately. Will never return. I bought somewhere else. More

Wanted to order a Sienna 3 mos ago but during the paperwork they tried to sneak in a 7k!!! markup. I walked out but they followed me and agreed to take it off. 2 weeks before arrival I went in to get a value on my trade to be ready. We AGREED on a price. Van arrives and they write up the paperwork with thousands less than what they AGREED to and didn't care about it. What am I going to do? Wait another 3 months??? I guess they got there markup after all. More

Since it seemed to be an unusual problem we decided to take the vehicle to ToK for diagnosis. The service manager (Mr Malloy) told us that off brand brake pads had caused the rotors to be “all torn up” and required replacement. From my inspection, I knew that the rotors were in good shape and could not see how a reasonable person would say they needed to be replaced. Definitely not “torn up.” Also, only brake pads from reputable brands had ever been put on this vehicle that transports my wife and child. What we were told by ToK was obviously not true. Had had an ok experience with ToK in the past. Now we don’t feel that we can trust them. Everyone was polite. Also, ToK is expensive, even for a dealership. We don’t expect to return to ToK for either service or for a vehicle. Not recommended. More
Today I (almost) concluded what has been a 4 week process in the purchase of my vehicle (2022 RAV4 LE) and this has been my experience… First of all, their markups are absolutely absurd; on top of chargin in the purchase of my vehicle (2022 RAV4 LE) and this has been my experience… First of all, their markups are absolutely absurd; on top of charging a $3000 pure profit markup they require (according to sales associate Ella and sales manager Nelson Vienneau) the purchase of purposeless warranties such as a $599 Theft Monitoring Device, $999 Permaplate Appearance, and $399 Pro Trim. Given that the wait time was reasonable and I am in desperate need of a vehicle, I foolishly went ahead with it anyways. Second, the sales managers Po Chou and Nelson Vienneau were incredibly unhelpful. I attempted to set up an appointment with Po for two weeks through the assistance of sales associate Ella and finance manager Jason but he continuously failed to contact me, which resulted in me showing up unannounced where he finally set aside a few minutes for me. Third, I went to pick up my vehicle today and drove home excited and grateful to finally be done with this tedious process, only to experience a nerve-wracking drive as I felt my vehicle lose stability as I drove 60 mph down the highway. Needless to say, I had a tow truck take my vehicle back to the dealership for inspection. It turns out, as stated by service advisor Nicholas Acey, that all 20 lug nuts on my wheels were not tightened to specification. Meaning that Toyota of Kirkland let me drive out of their lot in a death box. Lastly, I would like to finish off on the sole positive aspect of this ordeal; finance manager Jason was extremely helpful and the only person at the dealership who thoroughly addressed all of my questions, which I really appreciate.
