It took 2 hours for an oil change that was scheduled for 8:00am. That should have only taken 1 hour. This dealer use to be great, my family has been purchasing/servicing our vehicles there for the last 20 years. But my latest experience was far below satisfactory. I was scheduled for an oil change purchasing/servicing our vehicles there for the last 20 years. But my latest experience was far below satisfactory. I was scheduled for an oil change, at 11 am. An hour and half goes by, (for an appointment scheduled oil change and tire rotation, ya crazy I know) I was waiting in the waiting area when I get a call from the tech stating that they found a where a leak was coming from and I was over due for a transmission fluid change and doing so would replace the gasket and fix the leak, so I told them to go ahead and do it if they could get it done and I was in my jeep by 4pm, they assured me that wouldn’t be a issue. (Why didn’t walk 15 feet to the waiting room to talk to me instead of calling I don’t know). So I took an Uber home to continue to pack for a trip, 3:30 roles around without any communication, so I call and had to leave a message. I then get a notification that an Uber will be on its way, it’s 3:45. I get to the dealer at 3:57. No one expressed an ounce of urgency, I didn’t end up leaving there till 4:20 and being told that I needed a new front drive shaft for my jeep…. Which who knows maybe it does, but I didn’t have time to check since I was now over 20 mins late to my trip. Did they communicate that they were running behind? No, did they apologize? Nope. If I assure someone that something will be done in time and it’s not, you can bet I’m communicating with them as quick as possible. And I sure wouldn’t make them call me to find out communication. More
