I was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Silver Spring. I attended both Montgomery Blair High School and the University of Maryland. I have been blessed to be married to my wife, for 45 years. We currently reside in Gaithersburg Md. Together, we have raised two adult children and have 5 grandchildren. I spent 31 of my 42 years in the automobile business with a large local organization. I started out as a salesman in the early 80’s and that led to a position as manager. I have been involved as a manager for over a dozen manufacturers at the retail level. I have earned many top national awards for Sales, Management and Customer Satisfaction. It is now time to slow down and return to the simpler life of a salesman. I have assisted thousands of customers just like you to make the right buying decision. Recently purchased our 3rd car with Herb Gordon and it was a very easy process. Al Goldberg was great to work with and found us exactly what we wanted. We know there are many choices for cars, but we love was a very easy process. Al Goldberg was great to work with and found us exactly what we wanted. We know there are many choices for cars, but we love our Subarus, but more importantly, we absolutely love the Service Department staff at Herb Gordon. We typically work with Vitaliy, Lori, Rodney or Michael, but they all are wonderful. They are very much the reason we cannot bring ourselves to leave the Herb Gordon family. We'll need to replace another car in the next year and plan to be back because of the customer service they offer. More

We worked with Al Goldman, and he was outstanding - very knowledgeable, professional, personable and patient. He answered all our questions and we had a lot. The trade-in allowance was best of any dealer's and the overall price was great. We were impressed with everyone at every step in the process; they were great and respectful of our time. We went took a new Subaru home a few hours later. In my job we talk about a what we do in terms of "What Good looks like?". For car buying, this is "what the Best looks like". More
