BUYERS BEWARE. Planet Subaru prides themselves on being different from all the other dealerships. They do indeed offer lower pricing, but they make up for that on the back end. I just had an experience with Klaire and Rhonda. They shared with me the spec sheet, with selling price, taxes and fees, etc. Everything looked good. I then told them I wanted to lease this vehicle and asked for a new spec sheet with the updated info. They left the MA sales tax of $2,011 on the deal, as if I were purchasing it. When you lease, you pay monthly tax, not a full upfront fee as if you were purchasing. I tried telling them a couple of times they need to take this off and they wouldn't acknowledge the fact I even brought it up. Secondly, when they quoted me for the lease, I asked them what the money factor (interest rate) was and she said it was .00290 which is 6.96%. She then quickly responded back and said, correction, we quoted you with last month's rate of .00278 (6.67%) not the .00290 (6.96%). My monthly payment increased by only $3. There's no way it could increase by $3, it would have been at least $17-20. So right then, I knew I had a problem. Subaru Motors Finance is offering the money factor of .00240 (5.76%) to the dealership on 2024 Subaru Forester Sport. The rate of 5.76% is what Planet gets and then they mark up the money factor on leases. Don't let them fool you. They tried to increase their buy rate of 5.76% to 6.96% consumer rate. All of that money goes right into their pocket. The money factor is NEGOTIABLE, I have spoken with several Subaru dealerships who would honor the buy rate. My message to consumers is, do your research and know your numbers. Again, when I asked about the MF, it was not even acknowledged. Here's the quote they offered me on a lease with the MA sales tax still included in the quote for a lease. I suggest you go elsewhere or maybe not because they are indeed just like EVERY dealership and will take you for every dime you have.

Car shopping can be draining and time consuming but if you work with the right team it doesn’t have to be so bad ! Kelly was a dream to work with. She kept in touch with me, gave straight forward answers and looked for additional information to make sure I felt as comfortable as possible during the entire process. I have been a customer of Planet Subaru for years and remain loyal due to their customer service excellence. The entire showroom is accessible and welcoming for all and employees are friendly and helpful. Always a good experience in the service dept. as well.

Agent suggested that I make an appointment to drive and view the vehicle for my husband and me after I had an initial session with him two days earlier. I intended to purchase the vehicle once my husband ( who is handicapped could access it) and he and sold it before we arrived. Then arranged for us to drive a vehicle we assured him we were not willing to purchase. Then told us we could wait until April when the next one was available if we made a substantial down payment.

Everyone at Planet Subaru was responsive and professional. Eric MacIntosh worked with me in sales. He listened well, found what I was looking for and never made me feel pressured. Highly recommend.

As my husband and myself continue to bring our cars back for our usual routine oil changes, etc., we are always pleased with the professionalism, helpfulness, and friendly service we receive at each one of our visits. Allíe Webb in particular, is so personable, professional, and accommodating when upon arrival and pick up of our cars. She has a beautiful smile and positive attitude. We feel she is definitely an asset to Planet Subaru in Hanover. It’s always been a very good experience dealing with this company. I am a Planet Suburu fan! I have purchased 3 slightly used suburbs over many years. I just traded in my Forester for a beautiful blue Crosstrek. Of course a key reason I drive 30 miles to Hanover is the talented sales crew and exceptional service team. Crystal did an amazing job answering my (extensive) questions and was patient and informative. She let me take my time until I decided on my gently used Crosstrek- the day after Christmas!!
