Follow up on review I posted on Monday April 30 concerning service for replacement of Battery. I was concerned for the charge of the service department charging me $185.00 for a diagnostic test for a simple test that should have been done to determine if the battery was good. I am updating the review and very pleased with the service department manager calling me back and telling me they had made a mistake and was refunding the $185.00 dollars. That demonstrates to me integrity and honesty in the service department. Thank you
Miscommunication on requirements for repair. I was not expecting $185.00 charge for Diagnostic Scan to replace a bad battery. I was expecting a simple battery test and replace the battery. A charge of $608.38 to test the battery and replace it is far excessive. I will be more selective in the future for what I bring my truck in for service. I purchased my truck at Larry H Miller and all service has been performed at the dealership. I need to be more selective what I will have the dealer ship do in the future. A battery replacement should not cost $600.00 that any shop would have been half the cost. A diagnostic scan is not required to test a battery for replacement.
