What Others Say

BUYER BEWARE OF MANAGEMENT! This place definitely started off 5plus stars! Our salesman was phenomenal. He worked with us from a distance on a very specific vehicle that we wanted (that is hard to find) constantly sending pictures and any requested information. He stayed late on Saturday to let us test drive and even got us purchase paperwork done in the last few closing moments. It came time to pay for the vehicle and my husband was ready to wire the money, but our salesman didn't have wire instructions and it was too late to get them, I guess. So, our salesman told us that we could just close the deal on Monday. Everything is going perfect! On Monday, our salesperson sends us the papers to sign and we send them back and the last thing I hear from him is that everything is "good" in his words. I think nothing more of it as it's a Monday and I'm swamped at work. That's where the five stars end. I have a missed call Tuesday morning from Toyota and I'm sure they are just calling to finalize things so we can go get the car. Oh no - imagine my surprise when they say the vehicle was "mistakenly sold" to somebody else Monday night!!! How does this even happen?? Our salesperson didn't even know about this. I spend most of the day trying to return the missed call of the GM who never does answer my call. But in the midst of being on hold for the GM, some sales manager ends up picking up the call. He was one of the absolute rudest people I have ever dealt with. He proudly and rudely tells me he sold that vehicle and there's nothing to talk about. I remind him I was actually waiting to talk to the GM. He continues to be loud and abrasive. He tells me that I never had the money to pay for the car (which I reminded him that we were ready to wire the funds and it was his dealership that could not receive our funds for whatever reason). He gets louder and angrier and asks if I ever worked in sales (which I told him I have) and asks how I would handle the situation (which I tell him how I have handled that exact situation before). And you guessed it - he just gets louder and angrier. It's obviously a guilty conscience at this point. I then ask him what time he sold this vehicle and he tells me 6:00. We sent our paperwork in that morning. Of course, this manager hangs up on me as his final show of unprofessional and immature ways. So, he sells this vehicle 6-7 hours AFTER we had already signed papers! And our salesperson had already left for the day so he - a MANAGER - goes behind his salesperson's back after he left, voids all his work, and just sends this vehicle out the door without telling anyone! Tuesday morning the salesperson comes in to find the vehicle is gone?? How in God's name is somebody this unprofessional, rude, and immature in management?? I have spoken to a LOT of people in my years in business and have never been talked to so rudely and unprofessionally as this manager. He was like toddler tantrums all over again. Needless to say, we did not and will not purchase a vehicle from this place. It's a shame because their staff are all great, their management is awful. How does a manager do that to his salesperson? He just basically stole money straight from his salesperson. What kind of leader does that? And I have left multiple messages for the GM but have not heard back from him either. This place has so much capability to be amazing if they just had some good leadership. You might be OK to buy from here if you had cash in hand. But if you are wiring money or getting a loan - forget about it. This manager will make sure that doesn't happen. Take your business to Goldsboro, Jacksonville, Rocky Mount, Raleigh or anywhere with different management! My heart still hurts for our salesperson who worked so hard for us only to be completely dumped on by his manager.

I have bought 3 cars from this dealership and I feel very comfortable here. I love the lifetime free oil changes and feel well taken care of. Ricky was the salesman that I worked with and he was very friendly and worked with me when a small issue came up to quickly get it resolved. He has been in contact with me since the sale and made sure I was happy about the purchase, which I am!

I purchased my 2023 Highlander on 2/29/24. Ricky Atencia helped me with my purchase. He was.very knowledgeable and personable. I felt respected by his easy manner and willingness to answer my questions. I would purchase another car from him.

This dealership offered great customer service and made the buying process very smooth for me!

Really appreciate the car buying experience. We drove from Raleigh to Greenville to pick a Grande Highlander Max. I had a couple of prior conversations with Ricky and we came up with a deal. When I got to the dealership, he’s stuck exactly to our plan which was fair for both parties. I really appreciated his professionalism, and how he put the cherry on top with a bow on the car. My wife loved it!

I’ve been dealing with these guys for almost 10 years now and I want to give a big shout out to Ricky and to Sterling both. I think it’s about 17 cars now they have sold me, family and friends!! Would recommend these guys to everyone! Had 1 problem with 1 of the vehicles and they stood behind me 110%! Thanks again today Ricky Atenzio for helping me with my oldest granddaughter s car today!!
