The NSTSA has launched a new auto trade-in program called CARS, otherwise known as
Cash For Clunkers.
What is Cash For Clunkers?

Consumers should be aware of a new NHTSA program called CARS which may qualify you for a
$3,500 or $4,500 credit for turning in your old "clunker" for a new fuel efficient car. The official NHTSA website is:
http://cars.gov to learn if you qualify. Consumers can also participate in the interactive
Cash for Clunkers blog which has additional resources about the Cash for Clunkers bill. The CARS program will be starting late July.
