REALLY COOL, CLEAN 1962 FORD F100 UNIBODY 4X4! BEAUTIFUL TRUCK!! Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com This 1962 Ford F100 4x4 is a really cool, unique unibody truck that has had a lot of work done to it to make it a great looking and great driving truck. Ford never made a 4WD Unibody truck so this truck was professionally converted to a 4x4 and you would never be able to tell it was once a 2WD truck. This is a clean and solid lifelong California truck. The body on this truck is clean and straight! It was painted Ford medium Cabernet Metallic and the paint looks great!! It has the original style front bumper and the dealer optioned rear bumper. The bed was bed-lined and a toolbox was added as well. The underside of this truck is super clean and we found no rust issues. The interior is also in excellent condition. The original bench seat was redone and it has a new headliner, new rubber floor mat, and the entire inside was painted to match the exterior. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are all working. the gauges all work. The heat and the horn also work. This truck has the original radio but it is not working. Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives wonderful. The engine has been upgraded to the 5.8L 351 Windsor that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we found. The engine was rebuilt when it was installed but we did not get receipts. It has a HEI ignition, Holley carb, aluminum radiator, and dual exhaust. It has the C4 Automatic transmission with a Loker Shifter that shifts nice. It is mated to the Dana 24 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Ford 9 Inch with 3.50 gears.. The front axle is a dana 44 with 3.50 gears. This truck has power steering and power front disc brakes. It is sitting on some cool black steel wheels with a like new set of 33 Inch mud terrain tires.
