Over three generations from 1964 though 1977 Chevrolet produced the Chevelle, which is a mid-sized automobile built on the A-Body platform and was one of Chevrolets most successful name-plates. The Malibu was the top-of-the-line model up until 1972 which after that in 1973 the third and final generation would be built. The first generation was built from 1964-1967 and we would now be in the muscle car wars. The Chevelle was a instant hit when it came out and remains one of the most collectible classic muscle cars to this day. Well, this Chevelle may look stock, but it is anything but that now equipped with a crate 502 engine putting down pretty big HP to the rear tires. It sounds extremely healthy especially when you shut the exhaust off with the cut-outs. The paint is extremely nice on most of the body with a couple imperfections in the paint as noted in the pictures. Nothing that probably cant be dealt with. The interior is in very good condition, the engine bay is tidy as is the trunk. This beast starts right up, idles and sounds extremely good. It goes through all the gears as it should and has plenty of passing power if you will. Brakes are good as are the tires. The car is on consignment from a gentleman that purchased this car back in 2016 from a Mecum auction and has driven it very little. All the lights and gauges work and is ready for its new home. We welcome and questions or inspections here in our Traverse City location.
