One owner for 40 years. Supposedly ordered fully loaded for a 16 year old girl. This is one of the highest optioned convertibles ever made with over 20 in total! It has been beautifully refurbished with a detailed body off frame restoration. What a great investment opportunity and fun cruiser too! EXTERIOR: Classic color combo! The Bolero Red paint was applied with great attention to detail. It is polished to a reflective and slick finish. The black nose stripe is virtually smooth to the touch. Looking down the side of the body it is very nice and straight with voluptuous contours and crisp lines. All the panels have been painstakingly aligned with consistent gaps that are well above average. The doors close easily with minimal effort. The bumpers have been rechromed and have the optional bumper guards. The blacked out ''RS'' front grille with hideaway headlights is in great condition and the headlight doors work. The taillights look like fantastic originals, and it has the correct ''RS'' gas cap. The front and rear spoilers nicely enhance the profile. The power black vinyl top was replaced and looks great. It's rolling on 14'' rally rims wrapped in reproduction Wide Oval redline tires. INTERIOR: Well appointed interior! The Deluxe door panels with power windows and molded armrests are said to be original and in great shape. The deluxe seats have likely been reupholstered and have the white accent stripe. It is equipped with front and rear deluxe seatbelts. The center console and automatic shifter could also be original but nicely refurbished. The sun visors and carpeting appear to be original. The dash pad was replaced and the gauge bezel was restored. The climate controls and radio are both in great shape. It has a deluxe wood steering wheel and a tilt column. And of course, we can't forget about the power windows, speed minder Am-Fm radio and floormats! ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The original 327 V8 is completely stock: manifolds, valve covers, carb, air cleaner etc. It even still has its original smog system. This is an unmolested car and especially the engine. It runs smooth. 39,474 miles currently on the odometer and claimed to be original. Repainted Chevy Orange it also has all new belts and hoses. It is equipped with air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. A large radiator and clutch fan keep everything running cool. The horn and squirters are hooked up. The original trim tag is still in place. The firewall and fender wells are neatly painted satin black plus the underside of the hood is complete with insulation. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The bottom side of the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick just like the body. Reproduction stickers were added and the weatherstrip was replaced. It is complete with a full-size spare tire, jack assembly, and vinyl mat. Under the mat is solid rust-free metal with a neatly applied spatter finish paint. UNDERSIDE: Body off the frame restored! The front steering and suspension have been nicely rebuilt. The brake system has also been redone. The brake cables are hooked up, brake lines were replaced, and it has optional disk in front. A factory type dual exhaust system with the correct transverse muffler is looking great. The fuel system was replaced as well, including the tank and lines. When looking up at the correct 327 engine it is clean and painted Chevy Orange with the correct starter and flywheel cover. It also has the correct power glide automatic transmission leading back to its original 10 bolt rear end with 3.08 cruising gears. The floors, braces, and rockers are immaculate. Th
