GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for your consideration. This affordable piece of American muscle history is rear-wheel drive powered by a small block 350ci V8 with an automatic transmission. This example recently received new brakes and a new heater core. Offered here is an example that belongs to an exclusive cohort of 1975 Corvettes. Those familiar with the color options for the 1975 lineup will know that black was not an available option. Chevrolet produced a very limited quantity of Corvettes that were sent to dealers just wearing primer which allowed for the creation of brand new Corvettes finished in black. This uniqueness is denoted by the special paint code tag as shown in the pictures. This L-48 corvette features T-tops that remove and go back on the car easily and when removed make for an exciting open-top driving experience. Additional features include power steering, power brakes, and working air conditioning. The C3 generation of Corvettes were the stingrays patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda and executed under Bill Mitchell's direction. In 1970 the fender flares were designed into the body contours to reduce wheel-thrown debris damage. Additionally, new egg-crate grills with matching front fender side vents and larger squared front directional lamps became standard. The Interior was tweaked also with redesigned seats and a new deluxe interior option.
