1979 Dodge Pickup Truck

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com This 1979 Dodge Power Wagon W150 is a really cool and clean truck that you don't see very often. This is a a short-box truck and it is also the uti-line which is considered a step-side. We rarely find a vintage Dodge like this in this clean of condition. This is an Arizona and Nevada truck. The last owner did a selective restoration on this truck over the last few years. He bought the truck from a friend who had the truck in his garage and did not drive it very much. Miles are claimed to be original and based on the condition we believe that. The body on this truck is clean and straight. It was recently repainted in its original color of Light Silver Poly. The paint it looks great!! They also replaced the wood in the bed and new painted metal strips as well. The original bumpers and grille are still in nice condition. The underside has not been touched and is totally original. It is clean and we found no rust issues with this truck. The interior is really nice. It has the rare bucket seats with center console that folds up into a 3rd seat which is pretty cool. The seat was professionally reupholstered and looks like new. It also has new carpet and new door panels. The dash is original and still nice which also shows that the truck was kept inside. The dash bezel was also redone and looks great! The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The horn and windshield wipers work and the heat also works. Mechanically this truck is great and it runs and drives nicely. The engine is believed to be the original 5.9L 360 V8 that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we found. The engine is totally stock except for added dual exhaust. It has the original Holley 2 barrel Carb that was rebuilt. It also has a new fuel pump and the fuel tank was removed and cleaned a couple of years ago. The transmission is a 727 Automatic that shifts nice. It is mated to the np203 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is an 8.25 with 3.50 gears. It was resealed and fluid was changed. The front axle is a Dana 44 with 3.50 gears. It was also resealed and new fluid added. It is all sitting on a nice set of factory steel wheels with a nearly new set of 33 Inch ProComp Extreme Tires.
