1981 Two-Tone Silver Metallic on Charcoal Gray / Black Leather Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Automatic Transmission, Ice Cold A/C, Mirrored Glass T-Tops and the Polished Alloy Wheels with only 47k Miles. The 1981 Corvette holds a unique place in the Corvette history as the only year production was split between two factoriesSt. Louis, and Bowling Green Green, Kentucky plant. This transitional year also marked the first use of a computer-controlled carburetor (CCC) system for better fuel efficiency and emissions control. It was the last Corvette to use a carbureted engine, before the 1982 models switched to fuel injection, making it a notable end of an era for Corvette Collectors and enthusiasts. Collectors are drawn to the 1981 model for its historical significance, the factory changeover, and its blend of late C3 styling with early signs of modern Corvette engineering. Finally, the early 80's design paint offered two-tone colors which were unique and rare today making them extremely valuable. The prices on these Corvettes are appreciating rapidly, own a car that goes up in value! This Gorgeous Two-Tone C3 comes equipped with the Automatic Transmission, GM Stereo System, sport bucket seats, Power Windows, Power Locks, Cold A/C, removable t-tops, and the Polished Alloy Wheels with ONLY 47k!
