Like its predecessor, the 512 BBi, the Testarossa utilized a unique 180-degree V12 (many, including the engine designer, refer to the motor as a Flat-12 for simplicity's sake, though differentiate it from a true 'boxer' motor as used in a Porsche 911), though this time with four valves per cylinder for increased output. The new car's distinctive styling by Leonardo Fioravanti and much larger footprint were results of the company rectifying several issues with the 512 BBi, namely comfort and luggage capacity. The side strakes, in particular, were a result of the company placing twin radiators near the engine rather than a large single radiator in front of the cabin. This change not only assisted with keeping the engine cool, it also eliminated the need for coolant piping around the cabin, resulting in reduced cabin temperature. Numerous standard luxuries ensured the car was a pleasure to drive, though the car is perhaps most fondly remembered for its use in Miami Vice and other films/media. Today, the car is as well-regarded as it was upon release and remains a fantastic choice for any discerning enthusiast. The superlative 1988 Ferrari Testarossa Coupe featured here is finished in gorgeous Rosso Corsa (Red) over an impeccably kept Sabbia (Tan) full Connolly leather interior. This exquisite motorcar has been meticulously maintained and driven a mere 4,427 miles from new and is among one of the finest examples we've offered in years. This exceptional example checks all the boxes in regards to investment: low miles, exceptional condition, and classic color combination. Because of this, I personally believe the investment potential of this iconic model will grow beyond your imagination. Offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own the very best at an investment price!
