A true icon of Italian engineering and automotive design, this 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition represents the final and most refined evolution of one of the most legendary supercars ever built. With only 2,917 original miles, this example remains a time capsule of 1980s exotic car culture and a rare opportunity to own a collector-grade piece of Lamborghini history. Underneath its striking Rosso exterior lies a naturally aspirated 5.2L 60 V12, longitudinally mid-mounted and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Delivering 425 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm, the Countach offers raw, analog performance that is virtually extinct in todays supercar market. The engine breathes through Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, offering improved reliability and drivability over its carbureted predecessors, particularly for the U.S.-spec models like this one. The 25th Anniversary Edition, launched at the 1988 Formula One Grand Prix in Monza, was developed to celebrate Lamborghinis silver jubilee (25th anniversary). Only 657 examples were ever produced, making it one of the most desirable and collectible Countach variants to date. The Anniversario features over 500 subtle upgrades compared to the previous QV model, making it not just a styling refresh but a significantly refined machine. Designed by the legendary Horacio Pagani, who would later go on to create the Pagani Zonda, the 25th Anniversary Edition boasted updated bodywork, including a re-contoured front bumper, revised front spoiler with integrated brake cooling ducts, and a cleaner rear bumper design shared between U.S. and Euro models. Most notably, the side intake strakes behind the doors were reshaped with thicker vertical body-colored slats, replacing the black horizontal design of earlier cars giving the Countach a more modern and aggressive look. Beneath its sculpted lines, the chassis received extensive tuning, led by three-time World Rally Champion Sandro Munari, improving handling dynamics significantly over prior versions. The car rides on bespoke OZ Racing two-piece forged alloy wheels, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires utilizing dual-compound asymmetric tread for enhanced performance and grip. Inside, the champagne tan leather interior features numerous ergonomic and comfort upgrades. Lamborghini introduced power-operated windows (replacing the hand cranks), power reclining seatbacks, an all-new steering wheel, and a vastly improved air conditioning system. Enhanced sound insulation was added to refine the cabin experience, making this the most livable Countach ever produced. Though the engine architecture remained largely unchanged from the QV, Lamborghini refined the layout for better reliability and serviceability, reorganizing the wiring and plumbing within the engine bay. Each engine variant carbureted for European markets and fuel-injected for the U.S. was easily distinguished by its un
