Gateway Classic Cars Tampa Showroom is honored to digitally present this rare 1997 Pontiac Trans Am Comp T/A. Calling all Pontiac and Trans Am enthusiast! Please feast your eyes on this rare bird because these do not come up for sale often. In 1997 SLP - Street Legal Performance - produced only 47 Comp TAs to celebrate the twenty fifth anniversary of the BFGoodrich Comp tire line. Of the 47 special birds, only 17 were fitted with an automatic transmission. The Comps came with the Ram Air style hood, special wheels with BFG Comp TA tires, Bilstein sports suspension package, SLP exhaust, and special striping. RPO code R6V #0187 is listed in the SLP registry sustaining its authenticity and heritage. If you are looking for a collectible Trans Am then look no further than this striking example. The car has been pampered and comes with a clean Carfax. The time will come when you will not be able to find these for sale so now is the time to buy!
