1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 Coupe 6-Speed Now available a 1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am coupe with 4329 original miles. Finished in black over Dark Pewter leather, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Ordered with the WS6 Ram Air Performance (WS6 stands for Wide Suspension 6 pieces which included 4 stiffer springs and 2 thicker sway bars) and Handling Package, which added Ram-Air induction, functional hood scoops, a tuned suspension, a power-steering cooler, and a low-restriction exhaust system. The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 features Ram-Air induction and was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. The Ram Air Performance and Handling Package added a low-restriction dual exhaust system. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The 17 polished five-spoke aluminum wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, which need to be replaced. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. The car is equipped with an optional traction control system. The WS6 Ram Air Performance and Handling Package included revised suspension tuning and a power steering cooler. The 2+2 cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Dark Pewter leather. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,000-rpm redline along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, remote keyless entry, power mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Monsoon audio system featuring a CD stereo with a graphic equalizer.
