This 2000 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R is one of 300 examples produced for the model year, and it now shows 744 miles. The car is powered by a 5.4-liter DOHC V8 linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential and is finished in Performance Red over Dark Charcoal cloth. Equipment includes an independent rear suspension, Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, a removable front air dam, a cowl-induction hood, a rear wing, Recaro sport seats, remote keyless entry, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. Previously sold on BaT in August 2023, the car was acquired by the selling dealer in October 2024. The 18 five-spoke cast aluminum wheels are mounted with 265/40 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A tires. The Cobra R package features an independent rear suspension along with Bilstein shocks, stiffer Eibach springs, and larger sway bars than the contemporary SN95 Mustang. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with four-piston Brembo front calipers.

The cabin features Recaro sport seats trimmed in Dark Charcoal cloth with inserts and Cobra R emblems embroidered into the backrests. Amenities include a leather-wrapped shift knob, remote keyless entry, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. To save weight, the Cobra R was not equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, a stereo, a rear seat, or sound-deadening materials.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 744 miles.

The 5.4-liter DOHC V8 features forged aluminum pistons, performance camshafts, and an aluminum radiator. Factory-rated output was 385 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Cobra R was fitted with a performance exhaust system featuring a Bassani X-pipe and Borla mufflers.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Woody Anderson Ford and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total MSRP of $54,995.
