2001 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 3 Supercharged The Subtlety of a Chainsaw in a Library Behold, the 2001 Roush Stage 3 Mustang Supercharged, a machine that takes Fords humble pony car and stuffs it full of enough horsepower to make your insurance agent cry and your neighbors file noise complaints. If subtlety is your thing, this is absolutely the wrong car for you. If you enjoy tire smoke, questionable life choices, and explaining No, it's not just a body kit to everyone at the gas station then welcome home, friend. Under the hood lurks a 4.6-liter V8 force-fed by a supercharger that whines louder than your ex during a group project. The moment you tap the throttle; it launches you forward with all the grace and restraint of a caffeine-crazed rodeo bull. You dont so much drive this car as negotiate with it. Its 400+ horsepower of American freedom compressed air, and unrefined chaos. The Roush Stage 3 package didn't just stop at the engine oh no. It's got a full performance suspension setup that tries (and sometimes fails) to keep the rear wheels attached to the pavement. The body kit is aggressively aerodynamic in the same way a brick with anger issues is aerodynamic. There are scoops, vents, wings, and stripes in all the right places, each one whispering, you're about to do something dumb and it's going to be awesome. Inside, its peak early-2000s Ford. You get seats that hug tighter than your aunt at Thanksgiving, gauges that glow like a 2001 rave, and enough hard plastic to survive a nuclear winter. The clutch is heavy, the shifter, Hurst, is notchy, and every gear change feels like you're physically punching the laws of physics. Apple car play and android auto, no lane assist, and definitely no quiet mode. Just raw, mechanical fury and a stereo that's never been turned up louder than the supercharger. When you start it, dogs three blocks away start barking. When you rev it, car alarms go off in the next zip code. And when you drive it, people either give you a thumbs-up or a restraining order sometimes both. The smell of burnt rubber becomes your new cologne. The speed limit becomes a suggestion. And your gas mileage? Let's just say it measures in smiles per gallon, not miles per gallon. The 2001 Roush Stage 3 Mustang isn't for everyone. It's for the brave, the nostalgic, and the slightly unhinged. It's for those who think traction control is just a polite suggestion and who believe that supercharger whine is the sweetest music ever composed. It's a car that makes you remember why you fell in love with cars in the first place because they make you feel alive. So, if you're ready to live dangerously, smell like 93 octane, and make every drive an event, this is your steed. The Roush Stage 3 doesn't just go fast it makes time slow down, tires melt, and everyone else wish they were you. Warning: May cause spontaneous burnout competitions, involuntary grinning, and an overwhelming urge to shout MERICA! after every acceleration. Over 10k in up
