The plans for the Mazda Miata began way back in 1978 and by 1981 plans were moving forward with the help of Bob Hall, a journalist with Motor Trend Magazine who moved to a product planning position with Mazda USA. The car would not come to market until 1989. The Miata is still being produced to this day and has a cult like following with over a Million MX-5s being sold making it the best-selling two-seat convertible sports car in History. The year after it debuted, the Miata Automobile Magazines Auto Of the Year, Car and Drivers 10 Best winners. This particular little second generation stunning example outfitted with a very nice body kit is located in our Traverse City location for your consideration is finished in a very desirable blue over gray and is ready to go. Everything is in excellent working condition including ice cold A/C, working gauges, lights and no dummy lights on the dash. The paint, interior, engine bay, trunk and underside are all in very good condition. We welcome any questions or inspections and look forward to speaking to you about this incredible car.
