Consumers take advertising slogans with a grain of salt, and rightfully so. That's what makes it so hard to believe BMW's tagline, The Ultimate Driving Machine. But BMWs really are fantastic driving machines, and the Z4 is the ultimate expression of BMW's ultimate goal. The BMW M is powered by a tuned magnesium 3.2 liter in-line six cylinder engine that produces 330 horsepower. The engine is also able to achieve a higher 8,000 rpm redline. Exterior design is made more aggressive by adding an M-spec front bumper and sexy 18-inch wheels. The BMW M coupe is a carryover from 2006. The M Coupe is back, and this time it doesn't look like a clown shoe. With the outgoing E46 M3's fantastic inline-six (making 330 hp in the M Coupe) and limited-slip differential, but with hundreds of pounds less weight to haul around, this coupe will accelerate from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. The Z4 M Coupe comes with a conventional 6-speed manual transmission, conventional hydraulically assisted steering, and conventional springs and shocks.
