Seller's Comments

When the 997-generation 911 GT3 debuted in 2006, it represented a return to Porsches motorsport rootspurpose-built, unfiltered, and powered by a naturally aspirated engine that had more in common with Le Mans than the showroom floor. Based on the GT3 Cup race car and homologated for road use, the 997.1 GT3 quickly became a modern icon among purists, thanks to its mechanical simplicity, surgical precision, and visceral character.
At its heart lies the now-legendary Mezger 3.6-liter flat-six, derived from the GT1 race program and shared with the 996 GT3 RS and 911 GT3 RSR. Producing 415 horsepower at a screaming 7,600 rpm, it is paired to a crisp, short-throw 6-speed manual gearbox, routing power to the rear wheels with no electronic interventionno PDK, no turbocharging, no compromises. Throttle response is instantaneous, the steering weight is hydraulic and honest, and the ridewhile firmis tuned for absolute control under load.
This 2007 example is finished in Black over Black, a timeless specification that highlights the models subtle aggression: center-exit dual exhaust, fixed rear wing, and lowered ride height via PASM sport suspension. Inside, the cockpit is appropriately focused: black sport seats, a simple center stack, analog gauges, and materials chosen for function rather than flair.
Equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), lightweight components, and track-ready brakes, the 997 GT3 was built to devour apexes with confidence-inspiring consistency. With stability control that can be fully disabled, it remains one of the last analog 911s to give the driver full authority behind the wheeloffering feedback, balance, and precision that newer cars often filter out.
This example, offered in excellent condition, is representative of an era when Porsche engineering reached its natural apex: lightweight construction, mechanical feel, and race-derived reliability. Later GT3s would grow more powerful, more technicalbut arguably never more connected or emotionally raw than the 997.1.
For collectors and drivers alike, this 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 presents an opportunity to acquire what many consider the final chapter in Porsches truly analog performance lineagea car as relevant on the circuit as it is rewarding on the open road.
