The 458 was first introduced to the American market as a 2010 model. It was designed by Pininfarina. Universally, the 458 Italia received a lot of praise for its gorgeous design and just how much fun it is to drive. The 458 Italia became the benchmark for what other supercars should aim to be. The 458 Italia was a radical departure over the F430 it replaced. The Italia came standard with a 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine which produced 562 horsepower. It also came with a very smooth and responsive F1 dual-clutch transmission. This was a huge improvement over the 430's previous generation's single-clutch transmission. The Italia will get from 0-60 mph in about 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph. Jeremy Clarkson, former host of Top Gear, and now the host of The Grand Tour said, the 458 Italia is not just a great car it is one of the all-time greats.
