The critics loved it! National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA): The 2012 E-Class received a five-star rollover crash test rating. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS): Both the sedan and coupe were named TOP SAFETY PICK for 2012 and received the highest rating of ''Good'' in four crash tests. J.D.
