2021 JeepGladiatorMojave merges the offroad DNA of the Gladiator line with a desertready performance upgrade. Under the hood, the 3.6litre PentastarV6 delivers 285horsepower and 260lbft of torque, paired either with a 6speed manual or an 8speed automatic transmission for smooth shifts and ample grunt. What makes the Mojave stand out is its Desert Rated suspension and rugged components optimized for highspeed offroad work: 2.5inch internalbypass FOX shocks with external reservoirs, hydraulic jounce bumpers up front, widetrack Dana44 axles, a 4.10:1 axle ratio and the CommandTrac parttime 4×4 system with a 2.72:1 lowrange gear ratio. Ground clearance is about 11.6inches, and approach, breakover and departure angles are designed for rugged terrain. The interior is comfortable and purposeful, with aggressive sportbolstered seats, dualzone automatic climate control, a leatherwrapped steering wheel, locking center console and behindseat storage. Auto Brochures On the tech side youll find Uconnect infotainment, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 22gallon fuel tank for longer trips. Fuel economy is modest about 17mpg city and 22mpg highway with the automatic, 16/23 in the city/highway with the manual. Combined it lands around 19mpg. Towing capacity reaches up to around 4,500lbs and payload around 1,200lbs, making it usable as a truck but unmistakably tuned for adventure.
