An 11-kW onboard charger is standard in the e-tron, and a 22-kW onboard charger is available. You can charge the e-tron at home with a standard Level 1 cord plugged into a 120-volt household outlet or with an available Level 2 cord plugged into a 240-volt household outlet. The e-tron's charge port is positioned in front of the driver's-side front door. Where Can I Charge the e-tron? On the road, you can recharge the e-tron at any number of public charging stations, including Level 3 fast-charging stations. How Long Does It Take to Charge the e-tron? According to Audi, it should take about nine hours to fully charge the e-tron with a 240-volt household power outlet or at a Level 2 public charging station. Plug into a Level 3 public charger, such as those offered by Volkswagen's Electrify America initiative, and you can charge the e-tron to 80% in 30 minutes, which equates to about 170 miles of range. With its odometer now hovering around the 14,635 mark, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty until November 2025 or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first)! The standard e-tron is all-wheel-drive and is powered by two electric motors (one at the front, one at the back).
