Just arrived is this three-row, ONE-OWNER, OFF-LEASE, NONSMOKER, ALL-WHEEL DRIVE, TURBOCHARGED, SEVEN-SEATING 2022 Subaru Ascent Limited! The 2022 Subaru Ascent received multiple awards, including: 2022 U.S. News and World Report Best Vehicle for Teens: The Ascent was recognized for its advanced safety systems, accommodating interior, and reliable performance. 2022 TOP SAFETY PICK+: The Ascent earned this award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for its crash avoidance assessments and crashworthiness. Highest possible rating for front crash prevention: The Ascent received this rating from the IIHS when equipped with EyeSight. Highest possible rating in new IIHS side-impact test: The Ascent received the highest possible rating in this new, tougher test. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration had glowing ratings for the '22 Ascent, too--giving it a five-star overall rating! This midsize SUV boasts standard all-wheel drive, useful technology features, adult-friendly seating, and solid build quality! All trims a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine (260 horsepower, 277 lb-ft of torque) paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). All-wheel drive comes standard across the lineup. The Subaru CVT offers several advantages over a manual or automatic gearbox: Flexibility during acceleration Less fuel consumption: it will always look for the best transmission ratio to save fuel More ecological: less gasoline, says less pollution Less noisy Better performance: in terms of pure performance, a CVT transmission is more efficient by a few tenths of a second Lower maintenance costs: less friction, there is less heat generation and less wear Lighter: the gears are heavier than the components of the CVT transmission More reliable: this system is more reliable over time than standard gearboxes Edmunds achieved 23.6 mpg on their 115-mile test loop, which was slightly better than the Ascent's 22 mpg combined estimate (20 city/ 26 highway). Their best overall tank was 25.2 mpg after logging nearly 200 miles of highway driving, while their test average came out to 21.7 mpg. That's not bad, and neither is the engine's requirement for 87 octane -- no premium required. With its odometer now hovering around 40,549, the engine, transmission and drive axles are STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory powertrain warranty until June 2027 or 60,000 miles (whichever occurs first)!
