Originally introduced as with a body-on-frame design, the more modern Explorer now features a car-like unibody design which offers a smoother ride and more compliant handling than years past.Powering this Explorer is the 2.3L EcoBoost 4-cyl. engine with a robust 300 HP and 310 lb-ft. of torque. While not important for daily activities, if you wish to tow a boat, camper, or trailer, it gives you a maximum towing capacity of 5,300 lbs. when properly equipped.This is a low mileage vehicle for the model year, so it is clean and well-kept.The XLT trim level was second tier 8-separate levels, each building upon the other.
