When my mother retired an moved to Florida I got her a C300 4matic. She told me that she didn't need 4matic in Florida because it doesn't snow in Florida. What I told her was that when it doesn't rain for a while, once the rain comes, all the oil that has dripped on the roadway from cars rises to the surface and makes the roads extremely slick. Well, five years later, two accidents (not her fault) and her C Class is running like a champ. I love the fact that my mom is in such a safe car.
