The European Motorcars heritage was founded in 1983 by a European foreigner, Stanley Staron, who after working for other automotive dealerships developed a unique skill and sense of encouragement, decided to venture off and open a dealership of his own in Middletown, Connecticut.
In 1998, a decision was made to transfer leadership of the company to his son Tom, who currently owns European Motorcars and serves as President. The company has since grown from a small 2,500 square foot dealership to over 22,000 square feet spanning over four acres and housed between two properties. The original facility, which has gone through extensive renovations and updates, currently facilitates all aspects of collision and auto body repairs.
The company’s latest expansion includes a new Sales and Service Center allowing European Motorcars to continue offering the services we’ve specialized in since the company opened over forty years ago. Now complete, we are recognized as one of the largest independent dealerships in the northeast.
