Eric Thomas, founder and owner of Velocity Auto Source was born and raised right here in Madison County, attending school at Berea Community and has been in automotive sales industry right here in Richmond for over 25 years. He had a vision to create a dealership that still operates on old school values, one that will welcome you with a smile and a handshake, where your word means something again. Utilizing all of the newest in technology, we expect to do business in this online environment while operating on a low overhead and high volume business model.
We sell only the highest quality vehicles that are inspected and serviced on site and we sell them at below market prices. We believe that it just doesn’t take the layers of managers to sell high quality cars and do good business, because in the end the customers are the ones paying the price. What it takes is a team with real work ethic and quality values to make it work!
Eric's vision began with the remodel of a small building where we were originally located, some of you may remember as Danielle’s, a small family restaurant that was just off the Bypass and a block away from the Big Car Stores. Eric knew it would be an up hill battle to compete with the big stores but knew we could sell higher quality for lower prices and operate with less overhead than our competitors. We will be posting some pictures of the before and after showing the hard work put in to our little building from the beginning and of the remodel and hard work we put into our new Sales and Service location. We are bringing you a different type of car dealership, with an old school vintage feel, you will feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. In October of 2025 we expanded our team/location and opened our brand new 2 Acre Sales and Service Facility located at 193 Automotive Drive In Richmond, KY. We are now offering automotive service with the same great below market pricing and 5 Star experience we've grown to be known for, all on site and all under one roof!
