I went into this dealership fully ready to purchase a vehicle. I had been working with Monty for several days and he had been so responsive and transparent that although it was an hour drive I decided th vehicle. I had been working with Monty for several days and he had been so responsive and transparent that although it was an hour drive I decided this was the place I wanted to buy my car after searching for over 6 months. However, there was one discrepancy with my deal which was an OPTIONAL customer service pack listed for $799. I asked Monty about removing it being that it was an “optional” package and that’s when things went left. He called over a manager named Eric, who very rudely told me that if I did not purchase the package then they would not sell me the car..I proceeded to tell him that their own fine print states that it’s optional and he once again in an extremely nasty tone repeated himself stating they will not sell the car if I opted out and got up and walked away. Up until that moment I had a pleasant experience with everyone in the building, but Eric was the one rotten apple to spoil the bunch. He should not be interacting with human beings in any capacity. I got up and left without ever even test driving or seeing the vehicle. I’d never do business with a dealership who allows someone to speak to ppl they way that man spoke to me. Monty was awesome I’d recommend working with him, but do not interact with Eric if you don’t have to and stop letting dealerships get over on you with these mark ups and overpriced packages you do not need. The test driving process was a breeze. We walked in with no appointment and were helped right away. The day of purchase was a very delayed process and felt like I wasn’t being taken care of the same as I had before I agreed on a purchase price. For example, in the middle of finalizing the paperwork, I had to wait for my sales rep to leave, pickup lunch and then proceed to eat it in the dealership before he came back and finished the paperwork with me. Meanwhile my wife and I were sitting at his desk (also hungry) waiting on him with no insight into what was taking so long until I saw him eating…The detailing process was also not up to standard taking the car off the lot. The car did not feel like it had been thoroughly washed after test drives. There was very limited staff on site my date of purchase so I suspect one staff member just vacuumed the floorboards and shined the tires some. I was so ready to get out of there at this point so I had to take it to get actually detailed at a car wash soon after More
