I just used the dealership contact form to request a refund for an unauthorized charge that was added to the invoice for repairing the air conditioning on my 2013 Chevrolet Equinox. The charge of $51.9 refund for an unauthorized charge that was added to the invoice for repairing the air conditioning on my 2013 Chevrolet Equinox. The charge of $51.99 is explained as "replacement of rear window wiper blade". Current phone communication issues at the dealership have made normal contact a hassle. Communication involving the process by which I was advised of the cost for a specific repair, the timeframe for procuring any parts, accomplishing the labor was clearly explained. Since I had to leave my vehicle overnight I could wish for better communication involving the status of the actual repair in real time. Instead I was left to 'guess' an approximate timeframe and chose to have a friend drive me to the dealership. When I arrived at the service department I was told that the work was complete but personnel were unavailable to process payment. I was instructed to wait 30 minutes. After 45 minutes I went back to the service dept. only to learn that my contact (Brian Nicholson) was engaged with another customer. The employee who took my payment advised me that he was a "new hire" and though he could process my payment, he was in no position to review the charges or answer any questions I might have. This kind of disconnect in communications does not engender trust or appreciation for my business. It was offhanded and unprofessional. More
