I made an appointment and indicated I would wait for my vehicle thinking it wouldn’t be a very long wait. I waited an hour and a half for an oil change and wheel rotation at 830 in the morning. The service advisor Randy was very difficult to work with and provided very little information when asking for a status of our vehicle. After getting our engine replaced because of a recall, there was a noi and provided very little information when asking for a status of our vehicle. Alpine looked it over and said that it wasn’t their responsibility and that we would have to pay for a diagnostic test. After almost losing my mind, they decided to take a look at it. More

First an oil change resulted in my engine overheating because someone took the radiator cap off and failed to put it back on... I recognize that as an honest mistake but, I came back and they added coola because someone took the radiator cap off and failed to put it back on... I recognize that as an honest mistake but, I came back and they added coolant and did not bleed the air resulting in more episodes of engine overheating.... after coming in the third time... that service cause issue was resolved. Next, I was told my engine had an oil leak... how on such a new vehicle?! Repair was covered under warranty but, i got it back and parked it and now I have a giant oil stain in my driveway because of a way worse leak. I was able to get the truck in, days later I learned it was a transmission fluid leak. How?! I am very curious about the care or qualifications of the technicians employed at this service center. I have a great truck but I am think about moving away from GMC because my trust in the 'certified' service, I can't trust. How much longer until my engine or transmission is irreparably damaged by carelessness, negligence, or untrained labor. The saving grace is that the dealership has provided a loaner vehicle in each case... that is something but... the one I am paying for, I expect better service. More
