Purchased my 2025 Palisade Calligraphy edition in January from this dealer - nearly $70k vehicle. Car only has 2600 miles on her. Went to have a recall addressed and was told it needed an alignment. Wanted to charge me $200 for the alignment- car only has 2600 miles- barely driven and never hit any curbs or potholes. Service rep- Jonathan was abrupt, didn’t seem to care about my concern and dismissed me addressing the low mileage and cost of their alignment price. Having an expensive extended warranty- you think he would have been more attentive to my concern and worked with me- NOPE! Didn’t care and when I told him I had called tire shops and their price, which was significantly lower, he told me he used to manage a Firestone location and an 18 year old did the alignments. Apparently that was supposed to appease me and not question their price. Waiting for more recall parts and won’t be back to this dealership. More

I must say, my visit to Hyundai of Anaheim was a pretty interesting experience. Overall, I got a solid deal on the car I purchased and the pricing process was straightforward since my agreement was already interesting experience. He was upbeat, eager to help, and honored the price we negotiated over text. Even though this was only his second sale, he carried himself with genuine enthusiasm and a great attitude. The main drawback was the time it took to complete everything. I arrived around 5 pm and didn’t leave until about 8:30 pm. Despite having already negotiated the deal, I waited about 20 to 30 minutes before meeting with the finance team, and when I asked about the delay, a few staff members responded in a way that felt dismissive rather than helpful. The environment also came across as a bit clique-ish, and some of Jesse’s peers seemed impatient with him as he was learning. I understand the dealership recently came under new management and had new systems to adapt to, but there was still plenty of opportunity to make the customer experience stellar. If they embrace a stronger teaching mindset, build efficiency into their process, and foster a more universal culture of positivity and proactivity, they could really turn this place into a powerhouse. Overall, I’d rate my experience a 3.8 out of 5. Jesse was the highlight of the visit, and I’d recommend working with him. With better communication and a more supportive team environment, this dealership can definitely elevate its customer experience. More
I went to Anaheim Hyundai based on an advertised price for a Kona. After test driving and agreeing to purchase, I was told there were an additional $7,000 in so-called “optional dealer upgrades.” Let me b for a Kona. The advertising was misleading, and I felt pressured to move forward because I urgently needed a car. On top of that, they said they couldn’t locate the second key or the owner’s manual but would send them to me. After months of texting and calling, the salesperson finally told me I’d have to pay to have a key made myself,around $450. I escalated to the sales manager, who promised to look into it, but I never heard back. If you choose to buy here, do not take anything at face value, get every promise in writing. It’s frustrating to spend this kind of money and not even get a basic second key, something that should have been a simple process through their service department. Buyer beware: this dealership does not stand behind their word. More
I leased Hyundai Ioniq 5 and returned my prior vehicle, ioniq 6 on 7/20/25. Dealer / sales person agreed to pay my last month due for ioniq6 if I lease a new car with them. I leased new ioniq5 there on the ioniq 6 on 7/20/25. Dealer / sales person agreed to pay my last month due for ioniq6 if I lease a new car with them. I leased new ioniq5 there on the same day. I got 8dollar discount on my monthly due. I asked the sales person if the amount is the final monthly amount after tax and any fees, he said yes the amount is the final amount including taxes and fees. I signed the lease agreement that shows the same amount that we agreed on and paid $3000 drive off amount. When I got my first bill in the mail, the monthly amount was not what we agreed. It was more than what was on the lease agreement that we signed. I called Hyundai financing, they said it is tax rate that caused the change, and the financing wouldn't know when we sign the contract until I get the bill. But it is a common sense that the drive off amount includes the first installment amount. Because you paid the amount in lump sum you won't know how much first installment was actually charged with the drive off. The customer service transferred me to the back office and the guy said the same thing. He said to take it to the dealer to find out what happened. I called the dealer and the operator put me to the financing dept when I asked for the sales person (I already deleted the sales person contact not knowing this would happen). The financing never answered the phone. I had to hung up and call the dealer again to be put through to the financing again. I did this about 4-5times but failed to talk to anybody. I decided to personally visit the dealer on the weekend and when I get there the same salesperson was there. I told him the story He didn't even bother to say sorry. He tried to find out what happended but came back and said it is what it is 🤷♂️. I tried to have him solve this problem because I wouldn't have leased the car with the amount that I was billed with. The manager walked by and asked if I needed any help. I explained. He offered to give us free charging access to their charger at the dealer. I remembered the sales person told us it would take 6hours to fully charge a vehicle there. I refused. The manager offered to write us a check in the amount of the differences. I took the offer. It was on an weekend. They said the accounting will be in the office on Monday and they will follow up with them and let me know. It is now Thursday. They waited until I contacted the sales person to follow up. I still have not received the check after a week. I also received a payment confirmation for the monthly payment on the prior vehicle, ioniq6. It was supposed to be closed when I returned the car to the dealer when I leased the new vehicle. Apparently the payment was not made by the dealer and the account was not closed properly. I had to call the financing company and my bank to dispute the payment. The dealer's poor service and unprofessionally handled matter made me waste my time and money. Also charging money not letting me know and made me sign the contract is breach of contract. More
Reached out for an out the door quote and the salesperson just referred me to their website which wasn't helpful at all. This dealership stuck a handful of unwanted ad-ons to my contract, didn't give me a hard copy of said contract and then wouldn't take my calls to rectify.
