Had to take my car to get a few aftermarket items installed. Vehicle was absolutely filthy when I picked it up. Asked the valet why it wasn’t clean so I can inspect the PPF and ceramic. His response? “It was snowing yesterday” Well it wasn’t snowing when I picked it up. In fact, it was sunny. Car was not charged after I asked the girl on the phone to make sure it was as I was going straight to the airport. Because the car was not charged, and the SA had no idea where a rapid charger was located, I had to stop off at a charging station to get the range needed to get to the airport and home. Needless to say, I had to rebook the flight as it was just too close to risk trying to make it. These guys are terrible and incompetent with the attitudes to match. More
Service Department Asleep at the Wheel My sister brought her Q3 in to diagnose a brake noise coming from one (rear) wheel. Service department stated that "the rotors were rusty" and she My sister brought her Q3 in to diagnose a brake noise coming from one (rear) wheel. Service department stated that "the rotors were rusty" and she needed four new rotors and based on the price quoted, new pads as well. (though these were not listed on the estimate). Second opinion at a reputable mechanic found one rear pad worn to the backing plate. Front brakes were fine so the repair was about 25% of what Audi had estimated and work was completed in less than an hour. Wondering if anyone in Service even bothered to inspect the rear pads at the dealership or simply chose the most expensive repair route on a vehicle with less than 20,000 miles on the clock? More
Poor service Dept, making the switch to Danbury Audi Currently leasing two Audi's which i love. I'm an hour away from the dealership and the only thing the service dept is worried about is getting back Currently leasing two Audi's which i love. I'm an hour away from the dealership and the only thing the service dept is worried about is getting back their loaner vehicle. My wife went shopping while they were servicing our vehicle. Service dept called with additional work that was needed (new tires). We told them to put new tires on but we wouldn't be able to continue shopping so we would have to bring the loaner car back after work the following day. The said that wouldnt work and needed the loaner back first thing in the morning which we couldnt do. Had to have the tires put on by a local tire company which was another inconvenience. Going to Danbury Audi now and will never look back at Nyack Audi for sales or service! More
