I got the car I liked. I feel like I got a fair but average deal. The salesman was great, no complaints there. But! Shop your trade. I have a few disappointments. 1. I knew what my trade was worth and asked for a fair deal. Nope. They convinced me it wasn't worth my asking and lowballed me by $3500 two days later I see it on thier lot for sale at 7k more. I could see 3k or 3500 profit but 7k is just insane. Thats on me for falling for it. 2. There was a chip on the wheel, I was told they would call Thursday and have it taken care of. No call. 3. They gave me the wrong 2nd key. I went in the next day and they couldn't find my other key, told they would call me the next day and have it. Nothing. 4. They say there is a referral fee if you bring someone in. I brought a coworker in less than 24hrs later and she bought a car and had the opposite experience. I asked about the referral and crickets. Overall the concept of no haggle upfront pricing is average, not a great deal but fair and reasonable. Just dont let them bend you over for your trade because that fair deal still only goes one way. Would I do it again? I actually might. I liked the salesman and I did get a fair deal atleast on the new car. I may have done a little better elsewhere but that would be with the hours of hairpulling dealer negotiating everyone hates. I would just never take a trade there. Sell it elsewhere before you go. As for my key, my wheel and my referral. I have no doubt they will make it good. Its just sad that I have to chase them down for it. More
