I want to thank Nick for talking me off the wall after a call center person told me my car required a new motor....at 15k miles..... recall . He went to bat for me.... management didn't value the opinion of his F AND I told us we could get one at batteries plus for $50 ..... we know that not true and since I live 90 min away just never worried about it but Nick tried for me that says a lot to this old girl raised in GM dealerships my dad owned 6..... so GM runs thru my blood. Experience was terrible! I had originally scheduled an oil change and tire rotation for April 2. The service advisor called me prior and said they were backed up and asked I had originally scheduled an oil change and tire rotation for April 2. The service advisor called me prior and said they were backed up and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I was OK with that because I didn't want to wait longer than I needed too. I rescheduled the appointment for April 30 at 11:30 AM. When I arrived the service advisor told me it would be close to two hours. I was not happy about that but I was willing to wait for it. At the two hour mark, I asked him if the vehicle was almost ready and he said "oh it's probably gonna be another hour". 20 minutes later, I asked him if they had even started on the vehicle, and he said no. I could not wait any longer and needed to leave and return to work. He went and grabbed my truck from the parking lot and pulled it up, and just handed me the keys. No apologies, no sorry, nothing. This was my first experience with AutoNation Gilbert service department, and I will say for having an appointment for an express oil change and tire rotation and waiting almost 2 1/2 hours and nothing got done is unacceptable. And no apologies to go with it makes it even worse. When I bought my truck there at the end of last year, the salesperson raved about the service department, I'm not sure I would ever go back to that service department again even though my first service was supposed to be complimentary. More
Took over three hours to change out a battery even though I had an appt first thing in the morning. They pulled apart some of the A/C equipment for inspection and after refusing the service, they put it back I had an appt first thing in the morning. i purchased a 2019 Chevy Silverado on Feb 27, 2025, I drove the truck one week before the transmission went out. Took it to the service department immediately and had to pay for a rental for 2 days unti drove the truck one week before the transmission went out. Took it to the service department immediately and had to pay for a rental for 2 days until the warranty approved the repair. That was 6 weeks ago and my truck is still sitting on their lot. After 3 weeks I was told there are no transmissions to be found. So I took a trip down there and spoke with the used car sales manager, Dimitri. Low and behold a transmission was found within a couple of hours in Bullhead City and now I have been told that a transmission is enroute and would be here Friday (today) So I stopped by again and spoke with Gary, the service manager...at first he said that he read this moring that my transmission was still on the boat.?? What boat? I thought the tranny was coming from Bullhead City? I was assured that it would be at the dealership between tonight at 7 pm and tomorrow at 7 pm. We shall see...so as I was leaving I asked to speak with the General Manager who Joseph Asadi but they always tells me he is in a meeting....even when I am calling from their lobby and can clearly see that he is not in a meeting. I have purchased 5 vehicles from this dealership but that doesn't seem to pull any weight. I just want my truck back and I want the repairs completed correctly. I am now emailing customer.service@autonation.com to see if I can get some type of reprieve from this situation. I am very bummed at the way this was all handled. More
