I didn't want to leave this negative review, but this dealership has left me with no other option. I brought my 2022 Jeep Wrangler in early November for a third engine leak. It ended up needing a full dealership has left me with no other option. I brought my 2022 Jeep Wrangler in early November for a third engine leak. It ended up needing a full engine replacement, which I understand can happen. What I don’t accept is how the dealership handled it. My Jeep sat at the dealership for weeks with no proactive communication. I had to initiate nearly every update call. I was repeatedly told my replacement engine had not yet shipped or been delivered, only to later learn the engine was actually delivered December 3rd, a week earlier than I was led to believe. A radio malfunction was reported before the warranty expired and every time the Jeep was in service. The dealership refused to note it on the repair order because they “didn’t work on it that visit,” which leaves me unprotected if they later claim it was never reported. I was told, "it's now hearsay" by a service department member. When I asked about a loud turbo noise in October, I was told “unfortunately, they all sound like that.” After the engine replacement, I was informed the turbo actually needed to be replaced, proving the initial concern wasn’t taken seriously and the diagnosis missed. I'm now stuck trying to obtain rental reimbursement from Stellantis after relying on a rental vehicle for more than a month, and the dealership has not meaningfully assisted with escalation or communication. While the mechanical repair ultimately got done, the lack of honesty, follow-through, and basic customer service has made this the most difficult service experience I’ve ever had. I wish I had read detailed reviews before trusting this shop, hopefully this saves someone else from the same experience. More
I brought my truck in for a trans code and ther diagnosis was to replace the trans for 10,000. Dollars. While driving to Buena Vista got a warning that the DEF system need service immediately, this was a vacation pulling our fifth wheel also had the grand kids with us. Got to BV and found that the closest d system need service immediately, this was a vacation pulling our fifth wheel also had the grand kids with us. Got to BV and found that the closest dealership was in Canon City, called that evening and explained the situation and they were able to get me in the next day. Once there explained the situation to Brandon the service manager. He said he need the truck for a couple of hours to diagnose the problem. Right on time but would need to leave the truck overnight, he recommended a car rental place and they gave us a ride there, he assured that they would have parts in the AM and would have truck ready before noon. Brandon called the next morning at 10AM and said truck was ready. If not for Brandon and his service team our vacation would have been ruined. Great job team!!! More
I was in a hail storm in June 2023, my 2021 Ram truck was severely damaged. Took truck to the dealership I purchased it from, City Auto Plaza in Canon City (now AutoNation). They had truck for 3 months doing severely damaged. Took truck to the dealership I purchased it from, City Auto Plaza in Canon City (now AutoNation). They had truck for 3 months doing repair work, when I went to pick it up the first time the paint was mismatched so they repainted it. I went back to pick it up and all my stuff was thrown in a pile in the back seat, pieces of trim were missing, exterior lights missing, hood liner was falling off, interior trim was falling off, gaps were inconsistent on body work, hardware was loose, missing seals, batteries were dead, paint was all sorts of different textures. Took the truck back several times for re=repair but they had closed their body shop, so in Jan of 2025 they sent me over to an independent body shop to have them repaint it. They found so many issues and kept uncovering more they further they dug into it so they declined to work on it. They also said the truck was totaled in their opinion, structurally damaged by the dealers body shop. For the last 8 months Pete Severson, the GM at the dealership, said he was going to find me a truck or buy me out of my truck, and he was going to make this right. He says he has not been able to find a truck to replace mine, and yesterday he offered me auction price for my truck which is $20K less than KBB value. I took a cosmetically damaged vehicle in for repair and they gave me back a structurally damaged vehicle and did not perform the repairs they claimed they did. More
