We purchased a new vehicle 18 months ago from AutoNation and now it has just over 20k miles on it. It has been in the shop 9 times for several different issues. This last issue causes the brakes to vibrat and now it has just over 20k miles on it. It has been in the shop 9 times for several different issues. This last issue causes the brakes to vibrate, shake, and pulse like the ABS is activated. Took the car in 4 times and they've had it for more than 45 days just this year. Filed a Lemon Law claim one month ago. Someone at the dealership acknowledged to our attorney that the complaint was received and that they would contact us the same day. It's been more than 2 weeks now - no call. I have to borrow a vehicle from my disabled mother just to get the kids back and forth to school. Sadly, this lack of communication is par for the course. We had poor communication during the sales process, poor communication during routine service, and now poor communication with a significant issue. Just avoid if at all possible. Oil changes take days. They will hold on to the vehicle and won't tell you what is going on unless you pester the snot out of them. And heaven forbid you have a significant safety issue....... Lastly - my service rep - Ahmed - has been the one bright spot in all of this. He is understanding, listens to my concerns, and is genuinely helpful. Took 2020 Dodge has 30 k mikes has an exhaust leak due to crack in head, of course the part is on back order and I have to drive and consider damaging my engine due to this issue.
